I thought they could have done more with him, especially as he had established himself in the village so there were quite a few characters he could interact with

Perhaps the husband is just heard speaking, saying he isn't coming back to harassed gp & angry kids. Who could blame him.
Come back original aldi. All is forgiven, not that he did anything wrong, other than get a bit manic at the end.

“And the cast. We have a new arrival in I assume Azra's husband. Still no Rochelle.”

We talked about it being Azra's husband upthread.

Rochelle has never been in the cast list, even in the second week she appeared. So she might appear, she might not.

It seems unfair for the actress Rosie Stancliffe not to get a credit. I’ve said that before.

Thanks for posting the teasers and cast list

I agree she might still appear but there is no reason now to keep it hidden. But iirc i think similar happened with Rob's return and it took a few weeks of appearances before Timothy Watson started appearing in the cast list

Radio Times had the bit about Pat being on the warpath, though presumably they get their information from the BBC.
I usually listen to TA using the radio channel on my TV and it was displaying the "Pat goes on the warpath" while I was listening to it.

It suggests to me that Pat was going to have a rant about the water companies, but it had already been said, re profits for shareholders etc. So perhaps someone got scared they'd gone too far & pulled it at the last minute.
I don't know why they bother with these one liners. They're rarely accurate & always disappointing. Does anyone read them & think i must listen to that episode. I doubt it.
Didn't Thursday's episode say something about lynda hearing a conversation that upset her, but she didn't did she.

Wouldn’t that have been the “red dot” comment from Laurence?

The original teaser for Thursday, which was posted here and is also in the Radio Times says “ Tension mounts at the B&B and Jolene puts her foot down’

What it now says on BBC website against the available episode for Thursday is ‘Lynda witnesses some shocking behaviour and is deeply offended’.

BBC Sounds now has the summary of the episode - it says ‘ Lawrence makes flippant remarks about race’.

I think ‘shocking’ is more appropriate than ‘ flippant’

I can't remember what the dire situation in Bridge Farm is apart from e coli cheese.

Isn't there agricultural insurance for this sort of thing? It couldn't possibly be run by City Sharks and um a pile of poo could it :Monty:

There are an awful lot of people staying there, 7 of whom were previously living or planning to live in the same house on now insanitary Beechwood Estate . Luckily. the other two from there have found superior accomodation at Home Farm.

I presume the references to Narasha are about her trying to get the better of Helen and Her Boys about who gets the best housing deal/
26 Feb Natasha faces disappointment, and battle lines are drawn for Brad.
06 Mar Natasha plays her trump card, and Lilian attempts a cover up.

There are also the little matters of making an income from selling milk, cheese and yoghurt, veg boxes etc from the farm, run a tea room and maintain reputation of all the businesses.
Not dire at all....

Ooh, steenbok, how could you even think that. Impossible.

Anyway, this whole thing is silly pretentiousness as we all know...as chief cheap-skate I did have some nice cheese heavily discounted (RTC), possibly Cornish Quartz, very nice. Some other stuff a couple of weeks ago...eurgh...people pay for this :Monty: I did pay of course but still resent the £1.50 wasted on it. Bitter? Moi?

Thanks, Aonghas. Interesting thought about George and Martyn Gibson.

What I'm wondering is, are Tom's race against time and Kirsty's surprising demand connected? I do hope she is putting pressure on Tom and Natasha and not just caving in and dropping the price. Although, if the positions were reversed and Kirsty was buying Tom and Natasha's polluted house, I'd argue the opposite!

Stamp duty rates change on 1st Aprol.
Currently first-time buyers pay no stamp duty when buying a home worth £425,000. This threshold will drop to £300,000, meaning they will go from paying nothing to paying £6,250 on stamp duty.
