Yes you're all correct I think I'll widen the theme to acronyms & initialisms, there is a difference and I thought there was but hadn't quite looked into it, but there we go, learn something new each day.
An acronym is a word formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word (e.g., NASA), while an initialism is formed from the initial letters of other words but pronounced as individual letters (e.g., FBI)
